Due to it’s beauty and spaciousness the Seekatz Opera House also thrived with local events throughout the year including many Fourth of July Celebration Dances, New Year’s Eve Firemen’s Balls, Kindermaskenballs and New Braunfels’ seventy-fifth anniversary celebration concerts in 1920.

For the next forty years the Seekatz Opera House would remain the preeminent entertainment and social place in New Braunfels until it was destroyed by fire in 1941 and rebuilt soon thereafter. The Seekatz Opera House building would become many things over the next sixty years until in 2004 it received its first total renovation since the rebuilding after the 1941 fire.

Today, Seekatz Opera House stands as beautifully as ever both inside and out. The building has been restored for it’s intended use and can again host your event, meeting or social gathering with the elegance you desire and all of the modern amenities you could hope for, after all this isn’t the 20th century.

While preserving as much of the original building as possible, including the incredible wooden floors, the Seekatz Opera House houses audio, video and food handling equipment like it has never seen before.
